Grand Cayman Island Grand Cayman, the largest island, attracts 99 percent of the tourists, most of whom flock to beautiful Seven Mile Beach. George Town, will tempt you with its duty free shopping and trendy shops, or you can simply roam it's charming streets which are flanked by traditional Cayman style homes.

Grand Cayman remains mostly unchanged though. The diving is absolutely incredible - you'll swear you've taken a plunge into a pet shop fish tank. The gentle stingrays still gather at Stingray City and wait to be fed by locals and tourists alike. Rum Point, a cozy beach bar overlooking the North Sound, still serves up Cayman's cinnamony rum punches. There are no crowds, no traffic jams and the temperature year round is between 75 and 85°F, (24ºC - 30ºC). Little Cayman is the smallest and least developed of the three Cayman Islands, and is located approximately 80 miles northeast of Grand Cayman.

Little Cayman is a unique and almost unbelievable island that appeals to those who appreciate the simple life. It's quiet 11-mile stretch of land is a nature lovers paradise. It is dotted with pristine lagoons, mangrove forests, orchid strewn swamps, and salt ponds and offshore is some of the world's best diving. Little Cayman's powder-soft beaches are so secluded, the only sounds you hear are the gentle sounds of the waves.

Cayman Brac Cayman Brac is only 89 miles from Grand Cayman, but this "sister" island is a world apart. There are no shopping malls, fast food restaurants or large business districts. The Brac has a friendly close-knit community, and the priorities are different here for the 2000 or so residents. Brackers are a dynamic set of seafaring residents whose women in days gone by cared for their homes and families while their men-folk were at sea.

The cigar shaped island is only 12 miles long and a just over a mile wide. Cayman Brac offers visitors natural beauty, fine snorkeling and fishing, some of the worlds best diving, comfortable resorts, good food, an endearing charm, enduring tranquillity and traditional friendliness that combine to create a gentle way of life that most of us long for.
