Construction of the new luxury Rensaissance condos (at the site of the old Tarquynn Manor) is now completed! No definate openining date yet, but it should be sometime this spring. We'll keep you updated - check out our Grand Cayman rental directory page for updated info.

The brand new luxury Beachcomber condo resort opened in March 2009. Located in the prime central Seven Mile Beach area, the resort offers luxury class 2, 3 and 4 bedroom oceanfront condos. For further info see our Beachcomber condos web page.

The Reef Resort on the islands East End, now offers an all-inclusive option for guests. You can now have all meals and bar/restaurant drinks, as well as snorkel gear included for one flat nightly rate. See our Reef Resort web page for further details.

The new ultra-luxury Caribbean Club condos opened in late 2007. This is a new concept for luxury condos on Seven Mile Beach. The resort offers an on-site Italian restaurant and bar, room service and the staff can even arrange for a private chef in the guest's condo, or a personal assistant to help those that have to work while they are on vacation (or who just like to have someone to arrange things for them).

Beach Club Colony will be torn down and a top luxury condo complex will be built in it's place. The new complex will be called Watercolours and the 3600+sq ft 3 and 4 bedroom condos are currently selling from 3 to 6 million dollars.

Spanish Bay Reef, the island's only other all-inclusive resort has also been sold along with an adjoining parcel of land and will be re-developed into a 5 star resort.

The Hyatt corporation has pulled out of Cayman. The former Hyatt Beach Suites will now operate as Grand Cayman Beach Suites and will still be offering suite rentals. The main Hyatt building is still vacant pending insurance settlements from damage sustained during Hurricane Ivan in 2004. There is no news yet on a settlement or what the future of this complex will be.
